Director of Leasing

Your key goal in this position is to manage successful leasing velocity for LV Collective's student housing and assets through effective lease up strategy and planning. Additionally, this position will assist in market research and exploration, and influencing critical project decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Sales & Leasing:

• Collaborate with our 3rd Party Management Partner to hire on-site leasing teams

• Educate our 3rd Party Management Partner on the product and the brand

• Work with 3rd Party Management Partner to produce thoughtful leasing strategy for each asset and track performance throughout the course of the lease up

• Assist in the creation of the lease up budget, rates and scheduling

Market Research & Exploration:

• Produce competitive sets for new market exploration

• Assist with pre-and-post market visit overview reports

• Monitor market trends by producing portfolio and competitor market surveys

• Lead feedback efforts to gain better understanding of market demands

Other:

• Act as a liaison for on-site leasing teams and LV Collective

• Assist with projects and initiatives as directed by supervisor

• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned

• Ability to work late or on weekends may be required

Job may require up to 35% travel.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Extensive new development lease up experience

• A passion for student housing

• Experienced in creating market surveys and competitive sets from scratch

• Must live in Austin, TX

Business Skills

• Web savvy, skilled internet researcher

• Fluent in the English language, its rules and proper usage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Can-do attitude; willing to work outside your job description

• Proven experience building and leading leasing teams

• Lifelong learner and able to identify new learning opportunities

• Skilled multi-tasker and self-starter with strong time management skills and keep attention to detail and quality

• Deals well with criticism and able to collect feedback easily

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
