Director of Information Technology

We Guide, You Grow LLC is recruiting an IT Director – Network and Systems Operations.
BASIC FUNCTION:
 
Leads the research, recommendation, and implementation of proven, cost-effective technologies to maximize return on investments and exceed company business needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
1. Interfaces with all levels of management to develop solutions aligning with company goals and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
 
2. Manages the development, testing, and implementation of projects, leveraging MIS staff and Company personnel.
 
3. Mentors and develops IT staff in accordance with company policy.
 
4. Oversees the Company communications systems, ensuring the highest level of integrity and availability.
 
5. Serves as a liaison between the company and vendors, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available systems services.
 
6. Organizes staff workload for efficiency and quality, ensuring compliance with safety programs.
 
7. Directs the PC/phone/AS/400 applications training program and performs various special assignments.
 
8. Identifies ways to reduce operating costs, increase productivity, and improve customer service.
 
9. Acts as the primary Systems Administrator for LAN and AS/400 connectivity, overseeing systems' day-to-day and long-term operations.
 
10. Analyzes user requirements, prepares specifications, and maintains productive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
 
11. Researches, recommends, and prepares specifications for the purchase, support, and maintenance of assigned systems.
 
12. Monitors system performance, identifies and addresses potential problems, and assists in the development of MIS plans.
 
13. Assists in the development, implementation, and testing of a corporate-wide Business Continuity Plan.
 
14. Maintains current knowledge of Information Systems trends, explores cost reduction methods, and recommends new systems for improvement.
 
15. Ensures all activities in the area of responsibility comply with the Company's safety program.
 
16. Performs other related duties as required for business necessity.
 

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Required

·      5-10 years of experience managing an IT Department

·       

Salary:

$100,000 to $125,000 based on experience
