WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES.
This position can be remote or hybrid out of our Eden Prairie, MN office.
The Director of Human Resources will collaborate with the leadership team to attract, nurture, and retain exceptional talent across the organization, aligning with practice growth objectives. This position demands a strategic mind coupled with a hands-on approach, overseeing daily HR operations while actively participating in pivotal strategic initiatives. The director will be tasked with formulating and ensuring the successful execution of plans, systems, policies, and processes related to workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, team member engagement, compliance, employee relations, and total rewards (compensation and benefits).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the HR team in the execution of daily HR operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the practice’s mission and long-term goals.
- Offer strategic guidance and coaching to individuals at every organizational level in matters related to talent management.
- Lead and mentor HR and administrative team, ensuring their professional growth and effectiveness.
- Act as a cultural champion, reinforcing our values and fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace environment.
- Work closely with department heads to understand talent needs and implement effective recruitment and onboarding strategies.
- Implement training and development programs that align with organizational goals and foster team member growth.
- Address team member relations matters, conducting investigations and providing guidance in compliance with legal and organization policies.
- Lead projects to streamline and improve HR processes, tools, and programs with a purpose of deepening the team member experience and fostering vRad’s acclaimed culture.
- Leverage talent systems and people data to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in making informed talent decisions.
- Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance on goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Work closely with leadership to address performance issues and support professional development.
- Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating HR-related risks.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Manage and oversee the HR budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field: years of experience may be substituted for degree
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience in HR or a related field
- Ability to develop relationships cross functionally that will promote confidence and trust for the HR Department
- Understanding of employment law and labor related laws and regulations and business practices
- Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.
- Ability to objectively coach team members and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues
- Strategic planner with technical skills, analytical ability, and strong operational focus
- Ability to create a high performing, highly motivated culture
- Must possess professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, sound judgment, flexibility and have the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to drive change
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload
- Proven ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization
- Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and able to multitask
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Ability to travel 2-4 times per year
The salary for this position is $115,000-140,000 per year. The rate for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
