Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance for M&A to lead our Due Diligence, Negotiation, and Integration of Acquisition projects. This role will be responsible for getting multiple acquisition targets from Pre-LOI through due diligence, signing and integration with our company. This role will be heavily focused on building relationships and project managing external selling parties and their representatives, our own external diligence related vendors and internal teams to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions, including analyzing financial statements, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing financial models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the strategic fit of potential acquisitions and provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage the financial aspects of M&A transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and financing arrangements.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support M&A decision-making and valuation.
- Support integration efforts post-acquisition, including financial integration planning and execution.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of acquired businesses to ensure alignment with acquisition business case and strategic objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making related to M&A activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in M&A finance, investment banking, or corporate development
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience in conducting financial due diligence for M&A transactions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the industrial or acquisitions industry preferred.
