Director of Facilities - Hospital

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities to oversee the maintenance and operations of our hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance. As the Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment, and implementing efficient maintenance processes.

Duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management plan
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems, including high voltage equipment
- Manage the preventive maintenance program and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Supervise a team of technicians and provide leadership and guidance
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate facility-related projects
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and address any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, including cost control measures
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in facilities management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and industrial maintenance
- Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
