The role you’ll contribute:
The Director of Environmental Services maintains the highest possible standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction at AdventHealth Daytona Beach facilities. Leads the strategy and performs the coordination/planning/managing of Environmental Services and Patient Transport where applicable. Responsible for the supervision and accomplishment of the team maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Ensure throughput advancement by efficient patient movement throughout the facility. Must work closely with all departments and staff to ensure the patient's best interest is top priority.

- Develops annual vision, goals and objectives for environmental services and Patient transport consistent with the mission and strategic plan of the organization
- Assigns duties to ensure work tasks are accomplished efficiently and ensures that adequate staff and supplies are available for the shift
- Reviews and updates policies and procedures to insure they remain in compliance. Ensures compliance with TJC, Federal, State and Local regulations and standards
- Prepares, evaluates and controls the department's annual budget
- Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Related Field and 3 years of management/leadership experience in Environmental Services or Patient Transport
OR
- Associates Degree and 5 years of management/leadership experience in Environmental Services or Patient Transport
