The Director of Equity and Inclusion provides leadership and advocacy for programs and services to support students and faculty in the area of Equity. This position will promote a culture of diversity and Inclusion embracing differences as a strategic opportunity towards leading the District’s efforts to build a culture of equality and embodiment for all students, families, employees and the community. The position is responsible for guiding efforts to conceptualize, define, assess, foster, and cultivate Equity and Inclusion as an institutional and educational resource.
- Provides leadership in implementing and maintaining services in accordance with programmatic and regulatory requirements in the area of Equity and Inclusion;
- Provides primary administrative leadership in the Equity and Inclusion;
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support district activities in Equity and Inclusion.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, human services, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2- 4 years related experience
Preferred Experience
- Masters Degree in Educational Leadership or like degree Valid Minnesota K-12 Administrative licensure or the ability to obtain Supervisory and Budgetary Experience
