Compensation: $76,462.26/annually
The Director of Dental Training and Development standardizes new employee training, boosts current and long-term workforce in dental assisting and detours risk management in our clinics. Works closely with Senior Directors and Dental Directors to provide adequate training to staff and ensures all dental regulations such as OSHA and CDC guidelines are being trained and set forth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
- Oversee new employee training
o Oversee Expedited Didactic Training virtually for Dental Assistants, along with hands on clinical training with clinical leads
o Oversee training on sterilization and OSHA compliance regulations
o Calibration of Dental clinical leads, Coordination with Senior Directors and Leads
- Work with Higher Education Administration to implement dental hygiene training program at Compass
o Coordination with Senior Dental Directors
o Coordination and calibration of hygienists
- Ensure annual training requirements are scheduled and staff are informed of dates
- Oversees Dental OSHA training for new employees and yearly for all clinical staff
- Responsible for keeping clinical compliance policies and protocols up to date
- Responsible for ensuring all skills competencies are completed and up to date
- Provide Mock OSHA inspections at all locations yearly
- Works directly with Senior Directors of Dental operations, Regional Dental Directors, and Compass Compliance
- Participates in Compass Compliance Committees
- Leads/participates in special projects as directed by VP of Dental Operations
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High School/GED required
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred
Certified Dental Assistant (or a more advanced dental certification) required
