The Business Strategy and Operations team is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary team dedicated to driving revenue, profitability and growth.
The Director of the Business Strategy and Operations will be primarily focused on the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive growth and improve efficiency throughout the business. Reporting directly to, and working closely with the CEO, this person will manage a small team working towards big results. They will see projects through from idea to implementation and work on a range of different initiatives that affect growth throughout the business.
Responsibilities:
- Work with CEO and Board to develop strategic growth initiatives and budgets.
- Primarily be responsible for the execution of strategic growth plans.
- Identify new potential growth areas including product development, product strategy, expansion and sales strategies.
- Interpret and analyze data to initiate and support projects.
- Responsible to identify and put out fires as they arise in Strategy and Operations.
- Partner with different teams to align forecasts and budgets with company goals.
- Ensure strategy, goals and processes are aligned and function smoothly across global and local teams.
- Monitor performance and operational efficiency and advise on solutions for any blockers.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive growth in Strategy, Growth, Business Operations or similar roles.
- A high level of analytical thinking, creative problem solving, ability to see the big picture and then roll up your sleeves to implement the small detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate an internal team and external partners to achieve goals; and develop positive relationships by understanding and addressing individual needs of team members.
- Effective communication skills to speak to different people on different levels and different disciplines.
- Strong belief in Accountability and Responsibility.
