POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Development Director Health role is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Sales team and grow the business within the healthcare market. The ideal candidate is naturally consultative and enjoys co-creating solutions with business partners.
As Business Development Director, Health, you will develop and implement AXA Partner's Business Development strategy and plans for the health vertical and manage the entire sales cycle for this line of Business. You will directly develop new business strategies to attract clients to AXA's innovative cost-containment solutions to international and domestic insurance partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represent AXA Partners US and its health network solutions products
Meets and/or exceeds annual sales objectives
Work in partnership with operations, product, legal, account management, and leadership to develop and execute on a multi year high growth sales plan
Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead management, initial outreach, qualification, evaluation, demonstration, contracts, and close
Effectively leverage existing contacts and network to gain access to target clients
Build sales funnel
Ability to manage a sales pipeline from prospect through contracting
Collaborate with operations and service delivery on the most effective ways to deliver our services
Understand the US health care eco-system and develop specific strategies to grow AXA market share
Serve as a subject matter expert for the health care vertical
Use a consultative selling approach to help co-create innovative solutions to meet potential partner needs
Qualifications:
Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of the US health care eco-system and develop specific strategies to grow AXA market share
- Knowledge of health plan networks and pricing
- Existing relationships and knowledge of Latin American healthcare market
- Ability to work independently and to synthesize information to the team and leadership
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a high growth environment
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline from prospect through contracting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proficient in the suite of Microsoft products
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
- 5 years of sales experience in a consultative health care sales role
- Fluent in Spanish and English
