Overview

Our Analytics Development Team is seeking a world-class Director of Analytics Engineering with experience leveraging leading edge data technologies to deliver high-powered insights and advanced analytics. In this role, you will enjoy working with talented and diverse engineers who are passionate about trailblazing new product innovation in the data technology space. This is a full-time, remote or hybrid position in our Burlington, VT office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the growth and productivity of the Analytics Development team
• Responsible for the oversight of the development, implementation and maintenance of technical analytic solutions
• Responsible for client communications, coordination and general account management
• Participation in client facing activities such as sales presentations, strategy discussions, creating statements of work and high level project management
• Ensuring processes are established and followed regarding tag configuration, code modifications, testing and implementation
• Work closely with the Strategic Analytics team to align the technical and reporting needs for business and marketing strategies
• Auditing existing tagging implementations and suggest improvements
• Mentor team members, assist in problem escalations and provide hands-on guidance around technical solutions

Required Education and Skills

• B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Analytics, or Statistical analysis or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience implementing Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
• At least 3 years of Adobe Analytics/Tag expertise, certifications are preferred
• 5+ years of experience with Adobe Launch, GTM, and/or Ensighten
• Experience in an analytic role with a wide array of responsibilities
• Experience in leading initiatives focused on analytics implementation, customization and automation of data collection processes
• Experience in leading teams to achieve client business goals, ideally in a consulting environment
• Ability to use Adobe Analytics in concert with a data analytics team in order to convey information in a professional and skillful manner
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills in working with a team
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Familiar with advanced segmentation capabilities in Adobe/Google Analytics
• Must be able to write script: Javascript, and/or other languages as well as using tag management tools in order to provide custom tracking to fit client requirements
• Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with e-commerce and/or automotive industries is desired
