Role: Director of Analytics

Tracy-Locke/Haygarth is looking for a Director of Analytics to join our team!
The Director of Analytics is a versatile shopper marketing and consumer intelligence expert with a deep understanding of how to develop and integrate information and research to drive overall consumer and shopper experience.
As an expert in understanding the consumer / shopper journey, this role requires an understanding of the different levers that can be flexed to get and provide data before and after a program has been in market. The Director of Analytics understands that data comes from multiple sources (vendors, clients, and other partnerships) and must be distilled in a way that is easy for others to understand and digest.
Utilizing his/her deep knowledge and experience of retailers’ omnichannel media ecosystems – in-store and digital, on- and off-platform, owned and 3rd party tactics – this person will be able to integrate both qualitative and quantitative data sources together to tell a compelling story. They will use our proprietary omni platform, Numerator, Circana, Simmons/MRI and other relevant tools.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring for our Strategy, CX and account teams in building, optimizing, measurement and ROI.
- Support Client services team with best-in-class delivery of campaign reporting and insights, before and after a program has been in market.
- Work with senior account team to define key strategic opportunities and their potential impact on the projects / brand & retailer activation programming.
- Research studies, quantitative and qualitative evaluations to drive growth and deepen consumer/shopper intelligence.
- Lead development of direct reports through mentorship, coaching and ongoing performance feedback and identification of learning opportunities.
- 3-5+ years of Strategic Planning experience within the discipline of retail / shopper marketing or brand marketing
- Shopper and Customer/Trade marketing experience within the retail landscape (5+ years)
- Applied experience with database tools and systems such as MRI/Simmons, Kantar, P2Pi etc.
- Applied experience with syndicated research resource/tools and analysis such as IRI/Nielsen, Numerator etc.
- Applied experience with database building tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to analyze results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as:
Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy.
Actively and effectively managing timelines and deliverables of multiple projects and ad hoc requests simultaneously to meet pre-determined deadlines.
