Position entails leading an accounting department in a government contracting and technology environment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recording accurate and timely transactions; managing day-to-day activities of accounts payable, invoicing/billing, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, cash disbursements; developing monthly financial statements; working with auditors, DCAA, bankers, and other outside advisors and companies; maintaining comprehensive set of internal controls; supporting other financial reporting requirements to the CFO and Board of Directors.
Required Skills:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Required Experience:
- 10 years' experience
- Supervisory experience of accounting/finance professionals
Preferred Experience:
- Unanet
- Accounting knowledge of Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated capabilities in general and entity accounting as well as cost accounting. Self-starter with ability to work independently; Applicant must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
