We are searching for a Director, NPI Project Manager for Corona, CA to join our team.
Essential Functions:
- Drive strategic NPI Project Management initiatives for Operations, Product Development, R&D and NPI by coordinating new product introduction planning, development and execution supporting the 3-year Product Plan for both the Corona and Ensenada factories with Fender, Jackson and Gretsch.
- Participate in and review R&D products from industrialization through manufacturing.
- Lead overall Project Management for NPI KPI Metrics performance in both factories for Operations and in line with Product Plan.
- Lead Project Management for Global New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineers responsible for NPI into mass production.
- Create project timelines and budget.
- Execute according to project plan and milestones.
- Conduct Executive reporting on global NPI and risk assessment.
- Review and analyze Product costing.
- Develop New parts and materials strategy to support NPI.
- Develop 3-year NPI Strategy.
- Based on Product Roadmap, create strategy and master plan to support upcoming product launches.
- Conduct headcount and workload assessment.
- Identify new technologies and processes required to support business growth.
- Lead Global NPI best practices between factories and product transfers between sites.
- Lead cross-functional departments in operations across manufacturing sites.
- Standardize protocols and processes between factories.
- Implement best practices based on lean product development.

Qualifications:
- Requires Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronic or Industrial Engineering and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as an engineering manager or any occupation as an engineering manager.
- Must have 5 years' experience with the following:
- Engineering management in a manufacturing environment
- New Product Introduction (NPI) process
- Project management for KPI metrics for multiple sites
- Leading engineers responsible for NPI into mass production
- Product transfers between factory sites
- Leading cross-functional departments in operations across multiple sites
- Participating and reviewing R&D products into industrialization in manufacturing

Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $152,901 - $167,000 per year.
