Director, North America Marketing - Global Risk Solutions

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

The Global Risk Solutions (GRS) NA Marketing organization owns developing and driving the marketing activities, messages and engagement that support GRS NA business objectives. The Director, GRS NA, Marketing leads a team of marketing professionals to execute approaches, programs, campaigns, and channels that significantly influence the way the business is positioned for success with our brokers and clients. This role drives collaboration across the broader GRS organization, partnering with marketing and communications peers across GRS to ensure cohesive marketing messaging across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and execution of marketing efforts that support the business goals of GRS NA
2. Performs operational analysis and coordinates operational excellence across the marketing team. Engages with external creative agency and media partners to support GRS NA priorities.
3. Builds and maintains strong relationships with GRS NA leadership ensuring a full understanding of areas of focus and short, medium and long range business objectives. Shapes prioritization of marketing team efforts to reflect those objectives.
4. Leads identification, management of, and adoption of marketing tools and technologies to support our market facing engagements.
5. Drives market research and surveys that drive our collective market intelligence (consumer, competitor, market, industry). Identifies trends and insights from across research studies to define new issues and opportunities. Influences decision makers to consider and take action on insights.
6. Provides feedback, training, guidance and development of direct reports and other cross functional professionals. Defines individual objectives, evaluates and holds team accountable to high performance. Provides feedback for growth improvements and development plans. Ensures team alignment with project and unit objectives.

• Bachelor`s Degree required, MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and progressively more responsible marketing experience and a proven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive cultural and organizational change at the front line and manager level.
• Requires the combination of strategic planning, business knowledge, marketing and communications skills.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with business and marketing strategy.
• Ability to translate key business and marketplace insights into actionable strategies.
• Proven ability to influence other leaders across an organization.
