Form of workDirector - International Tax Services Generalist, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Francisco, CA. Lead engagements related to global tax planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and tax credit opportunities. Provide clients with both tax advice and the ability to assist in the implementation of the strategies. Supervise transfer pricing reviews, compliance and reporting. Work with wider teams to ensure tax returns are prepared accurately. Analyze US and non-US tax impacts of international transactions to determine impact on the Company’s global taxes. Hire, supervise, train, coach and develop staff.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $306,000/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or a related field, plus 5 years or related work experience.
Certification(s) required: US CPA or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
• Developing and sustaining client relationships using networking and negotiation and sell potential new service opportunities;
• Helping clients devise tax efficient investment and estate strategies;
• Working with businesses to structure their operations to promote tax efficiency and mitigate tax risk; and
• Providing audit support and managing multinational tax matters.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel required up to 60%.
