The Healthcare Professional (HCP) Launch Lead will be responsible for the development of marketing strategies, initiatives, and tactics for the HCP customer channel for Ensitrelvir, a novel 3CL protease inhibitor for the treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection for the US.
While working cross-functionally, the HCP Lead will be responsible for the success of the launch, with HCPs. The candidate will be working with both internal and external partners, as well as be responsible for continued refinement of HCP strategy and messaging based on customer insights, and pivotal studies and new data publications.
The ideal candidate will have an agile, innovative and growth mindset with the proven ability to create a superior end-to-end customer experience. The candidate should possess pre-launch and launch experience as well as experience leading HCP marketing strategies and driving performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and successful execution of the HCP launch plan strategy based on HCP and Market understanding, while delivering on key business objectives
- Lead the development and successful execution of Omnichannel HCP marketing based on deep understanding of Ensitrelvir data and HCPs
- Lead the commercial tactics from planning through execution for all congresses
- Lead the strategy, planning and management of advisory boards and speaker programs
- Translate insights into strong marketing actions and business recommendations
- Responsible for revenue targets and demand generation
- Monitor commercial tactics, budgets and promotional mix response
- Refine strategy and messaging based on customer insights and new data publications
- Manage promotional budget
- Partner with internal teams such as Business Analytics, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, Medical Affairs, Market Access and others in order to push forward commercialization and marketing launch plans
- Provide commercial input on cross-matrix activities, ensuring consistent, on-strategy execution within each function
- Lead promotional material through legal, medical, and regulatory review processes
- Interpret scientific data and lead the development of promotional messages
- Manage AOR and agency partners, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence and exceptional execution of key tactics and deliverables
- Collaborate with opinion leaders to gain input on commercial strategy
- Develop and deliver strategy and performance presentations to Leadership Teams
- Work in close coordination with Global Marketing Teams
REQUIREMENTS
- BS/BA degree in marketing (or a similarly relevant field); MBA / Advanced Degree is a plus
- Minimum eight (8) years of progressive and developmental experience in sales and/or marketing roles in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least three-to-five (3-5) years in HCP marketing
- Strong experience developing personalized tactics based on customer insights from multiple sources (primary market research, data collected thru machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, sales rep feedback)
- Prelaunch and launch experience
- Experience managing AOR and agency partners
- Knowledge and experience creating an HCP marketing strategy in line with the business goals combined with a solid understanding of other areas such as market research, strategic planning, pricing, reimbursement, and forecasting
- Proven ability to translate insights into marketing actions and business recommendations
- Strong ability to drive performance with exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication skills and executive collaboration
- Proven ability to identify commercial gaps and engage necessary stakeholders to assess strategic value
- Experience in leading promotional material through legal, medical, and regulatory review processes
- Experience interpreting scientific data and developing promotional messages
- Individual should have proven track record of successful development and implementation of tactical plans, including congress planning and speaker bureau management
- Ability to work with agility with an innovative and growth mindset
- Has a positive “hands on” attitude, able to work with limited resources, be flexible and agile, take ownership and be accountable
- Clear communications skills with an ability to influence and garner credibility throughout the organization
- Experience managing competing priorities in a relatively fast-moving environment
- Highest ethical standards, including demonstrated adherence to all corporate, Compliance, and Regulatory guidelines and procedures
- Proven ability to build and manage internal working relationships and work cross functionally
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytic skills (ability to quantify results)
- Travel up to 25%
- Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required at least 3 days per week
