Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most critical business needs, by way of providing Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Operational Accounting services.
Responsibilities
• Act as engagement leader for multiple projects, including responsibility for overall engagement quality and review of project deliverables
• Understand client needs and define approaches and methods to achieve required outcomes
• Act as key client interface with responsibility for client relationship management
• Provide subject matter expertise and act as a trusted advisor to engagement team, clients and external partners
• Identify, communicate and manage project staffing requirements
• Manage engagement economics, including budgets, billings, discounts and write-offs
• Coach, mentor and develop team members
• Identify opportunities to expand project scope and workstreams at clients
• Act as a key participant in business development calls and activities, including drafting proposals, statements of work and/or specific workstream scoping
• Identify and take an active role in firm initiatives
Desired Skills & Experiences
• Subject matter expertise in key business and finance processes (close process, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, equity, etc.) and related internal controls
• Experience in helping companies identify improvements in key process areas, including controls, and in assisting with implementing those improvements
• Dynamic leadership and excellent project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Exposure to financial systems and tools is beneficial (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, Business Intelligence Databases etc.)
• CPA and or MBA beneficial
• Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt beneficial
• Approximately 10-15 years of work experience, including a minimum of 7 years in business consulting/advisory services
• willingness to travel
