By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation practice, you will be a trusted partner to our clients. You'll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored, integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting, you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, business development, leading teams, and developing junior team members, as well as serving as a member of CrossCountry's leadership team.
CrossCountry Consulting partners with Enterprise and high-growth clients in the commercial sector to transform their financial accounting experience by leveraging solutions in close management and accounting. We provide the highest service and expertise for our customers' implementation, enhancement projects, and post-production support needs.
Client Delivery
    • Provide high-quality consulting services by taking personal ownership of client engagements and ensuring that deliverables/services are fact-driven and solution-oriented and meet CrossCountry Consulting's standard of quality
    • Provide SME advice on key business processes within the office of the CFO (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, Record to Report, etc.) and related internal controls
    • Expertise across the complete lifecycle of Finance Transformation projects, from concept through execution and ongoing operations, in addition to Finance Reporting and Finance Process and automation
    • Supervise execution teams, providing senior project leadership and managing evolving client management needs for operational and change initiatives
    • Lead projects across the project lifecycle from current state evaluation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation across the organizational, process, technology (financial systems), and data dimensions
Practice Leadership
    • Account management: oversee client engagements and maintain strong relationships with senior client personnel
    • Coaching and Development: provide coaching and training opportunities for team members leveraging individual skills and the firm's people-first culture
    • Recruiting and Retention: take an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring and retaining top talent
    • Thought leadership: share expertise in technical domain(s) with team members and clients, including case studies, white papers, learning materials, and other resources
Business Development
    • Actively pursue business development opportunities and market a full range of services to prospective clients, including using existing relationships to generate new opportunities
    • Support the business development team with client delivery or sector-specific expertise
Ideal skills and qualifications
    • 15+ years of relevant experience working with large enterprise clients in the technology or commercial sector
    • Expertise in the following areas but not limited to Finance Transformation, business process improvement, acquisition and divestiture implementation in the commercial industry
    • Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm
    • ERP system experience (solution architecting or operational accounting) in Workday, Oracle, SAP
    • Knowledge or experience working with other tools in the Finance and Accounting space (FP&A, Rev Rec, Close Automation, P2P, Consolidation tools)
    • Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally
    • Proven leader with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
    • Passionate about building, developing, motivating, and leading others
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective
    • Creativity, confidence, and flexibility
    • High energy, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit

$230,000 - $316,000 a year
For applicants located in Seattle, Washington, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $220,000 - $303250  + annual bonus + additional benefits.
