Build and lead the Enterprise Applications team. Design, implement, and support business applications used by the company in partnership with Program Management and business stakeholders to deliver business value and delight customers. Coordinate planning, and project execution while providing strategic management direction and executive visibility .
Experience :
- Education: BS Degree or equivalent
- Must have 8+ years experience in designing and maintaining business applications in the logistics and supply chain or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in implementing and/or managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- ERP and TMS (Transportation Management System) are a bonus
Must be proficient in administrating all front and back-end applications and database systems used by our client. Overall :
- Design and/or procure business applications to drive the company's innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
- Assume budgetary responsibility for commercial platforms used throughout the company.
- Manage software suppliers/vendors effectively including procurement, negotiations, terms, support, and professional services as needed.
- Maintain license information and ensure that all applications are properly licensed.
- Assist in developing IT into a profit center.
- Assigns the appropriate people and resources, and leads the team to complete product design, configuration, and maintenance.
- Uses product/service expertise, knowledge of competitor products and services, and customer/partner knowledge, to drive the application architecture design and vision.
- Develops lasting, innovative architecture that satisfies business and customer requirements, and aligns with the long-term plan for the product/service.
- Chooses the appropriate internal or external technologies, incorporates research, creates designs that are reused across the team, and is an excellent judge of practices that work well.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff and/or consultants as needed.
- Manage the integration of internal systems, as well as, customer/vendor integration into our client'sapplications.
- Work with the IT Operations and Software Engineering teams to deploy applications and capabilities to users.
- Proactively addresses potential defect areas in complex systems and ensures compatibility between sub-systems and dependent systems.
- Ensures that the team provides accurate time estimates, sets work priorities, and makes project changes and trade-offs necessary.
- Drives new ways of thinking, to improve quality, engineering productivity, and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities.
- Identifies and resolves conflicts in the team, assigns tasks to maximize the team's efficiency, and keeps the team focused on current priorities.
- Is accountable for communicating and focusing the team on the priorities of the product/service or division, and communicating the team's status across the product.

- Create related documentation and training material when necessary.
- Ensure all applications are regularly validated and meet relevant regulatory requirements.
- Promote understanding and realization regarding Environmental Management System (EMS) and its impact to respective department
- Manage and oversee departmental implementation according to the EMS plan and in accordance to the policies of ISO 14001
- Research and evaluate the impact and mitigation of environmental problems
- Define objectives, develop environmental plan and follow up on the plan
- Report any environmental nonconformity using the CAPA system
