The Director of Distribution Marketing – Network Solutions, coordinates global distribution activities with the Business Unit, Strategic Distribution Account personnel, and Senior Sales Management to drive brand awareness, and penetration of new products. Efforts are primarily focused on major distribution partners and their customers. Position requires understanding both customer and corporate strategies and developing advertising, marketing, training, and research programs to gain share in low share states and maintain share in areas where Leviton is a leader.

• Develops, reviews and revises Distribution Marketing plans to drive sales growth and mix improvement.
• Together with Leviton Senior Director and Directors of Channel Management, ensure all MDF funds are used effectively, and projects are completed on time.
• Proactively positions new products, messaging, and collateral throughout channel partners organization.
• Develop and execute a program for Distribution customers and internal sales management to gather information in a consistent manner and provide a prioritize list of needs for internal customers
• Develop strong relationships with our partners Marketing, Marcom and Product managers, communicate regularly and identify areas outside of MDF Leviton can be positioned.
• Oversee channel partners online websites and coordinate with BU’s and Leviton Channel Management Directors to ensure they are updated and contain accurate content.
• Implement applicable marketing collateral to support distribution, work with BU marketing and Product management team to introduce products in a timely fashion.
• Maintain comprehensive Distribution marketing calendar which includes events, promotions, tradeshows, and conferences.
• Attends applicable distribution meetings, trainings, and Industry conferences
• Maintain lists of key distribution contacts, coordinate ongoing communications
• Formalize and track performance in low share areas to ensure adequate focus
• Strong collaboration with the Business Unit and other marketing, branding and vertical marketing teams

• Must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills
• Ability to clearly articulate plans and influence others
• Flexible approach to problem solving. Creative, resourceful, and willing to think independently
• Critical thinking in the development of recommendations
• Extremely well organized, capable of prioritizing and delegating as appropriate, willing to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work within a matrix organization
• Leadership and mentoring skills – responsible of product and market management person within the group

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business.  MBA preferred
• 5 – 10 Years experience in Product Management or Marketing preferred
• Experience in multi-faceted digital marketing
• Past involvement and experience in CRM systems and Salesforce.com
• Experience in conducting customer forums
• Experience in working with relevant distribution partners
