- Serve as the Bank’s Chief Data Officer
- Chairing the Data Governance Committee (DGC) meetings
- Setting the Data Strategy, Policies, and Standards
- Building and managing the Enterprise Data Governance Office (“EDGO”) and function; Data Governance roadmap implementation; and functional monitoring and metrics reporting
- Ensuring that Data Governance goals support organizational objectives
- Defining and publishing the Data Management Operating Model
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Data Governance Program; including project planning, facilitation, project coordination, and change management
- Owning the definition of Data Management Standards to support the Data Management Policy, such as: Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Authoritative Source, and Reference Data Management Standards
- Developing and executing against the Data Management Strategy in close collaboration with key stakeholders
- Implementing formal Critical Data Element (CDE) identification and certification/attestation processes
- Facilitating escalation of issues between Data Owner Committee and Executive Data Governance Steering Committee, when required
- Working with leadership from key stakeholder functions, including IT, Legal, and Compliance to ensure Data Governance directives are comprehensive and actionable against regulatory and business needs
- Growing the program to an enterprise level and implementing a governance platform to automate and scale Data Governance in all applicable areas of the Bank
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree
- Minimum Job Experience: 10+ years Data Management Experience in Financial Services Industry
- Language requirements: English
- Demonstrated knowledge of Data Governance, Data Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, and Data Quality capabilities
- Preferred: experience working with 1) tools to support data management activities (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation), 2) industry best practices (e.g., Enterprise Data Management Council’s (EDMC) Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM)), and 3) FiServ Premier Core Banking System
The salary range for this full-time position is $190,000 - $210,000 + bonus + benefits
