We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Data Governance and Quality with a strong focus on accelerating business transformation through Data Governance and data quality. The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in running the Enterprise Data Governance Council while incorporating best practices in developing the enterprise framework, policies and establishing critical roles.
As the Senior Director of Data Governance, you will lead the charge in accelerating defining and executing the Data Governance strategy, ensuring data quality and governance, and driving innovation in data marketplace. This role is responsible for:
Building the Data Governance and quality roadmap to achieve the Enterprise Data Strategy, enhance efficiency, improve data quality, and drive competitive advantage.
Staying current with data standards and best practices related to Data Governance, data quality, data marketplace, and the ability to collaborate across all the data disciplines.
Driving prioritization across the project release schedules to enable the business transformation priorities while enhancing data quality and enabling efficient operations.
Collaborating closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring that data supports and accelerates strategic goals.
Fostering collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and executives.
Efficiently managing the budget for data operations and investing in the professional growth and development of the Data Governance team will be key aspects of your role.
Building the framework of Enterprise Data Governance and facilitating associated councils and steering committees.
Communicates and coordinates with vendors and manages strategic vendor relationships.
Defines data quality standards, data protection standards, adoption requirements, performance, and quality metrics to ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities.
Defines roles and responsibilities related to Data Governance and ensures clear accountability for stewardship of the company's principal information assets.
Leads and coordinates with senior and top management to prioritize and resolve end-to-end issues regarding Data Governance that may arise from different business units and departments in the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education/Credentials:
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, or Business). A Master's degree is preferred.
-Extensive experience in Data Governance and data quality with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership position.
Knowledge/Experience:
-Exceptional understanding of Data Governance principles and best practices.
-Proven expertise in data quality tools and methodologies.
-Deep knowledge of Data management software and tools (e.g., data warehouses, ETL tools, data modeling tools).
-Deep understanding of Data security and privacy best practices.

-Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California:$162,600.00-$284,620.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
