The primary purpose of Director, Customer Insights, is to drive disproportional growth for the media network by developing a robust insights and analytics program, engaging with key vendors to review program success and investment strategies, as well as oversee opportunities to further strengthen the strategic business roadmap and strategy.
This Director, Customer Insights will lead a growing multi-national team in the US and India to deliver against the objectives listed above.
Leads team of managers and/or individual contributor, technical/functional experts.
Delegates, directs, and prioritizes work.
Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organization policies.
Develops results-oriented plans and oversees day to day management for results.
Provides value-added advice and counsel to senior leadership/executives.

Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Interacts with senior leaders, executives, and/or major customers, which frequently involve negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and influences execution.
Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.
Contributes to development of strategies of a function or multi departments.
Erroneous decisions will have a critical long-term (typically up to 5 years) impact on the overall success of function or multi departments.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics or related field
10 years of experience in Consumer & Market Insights/Consumer Research
5 years of experience leading/managing teams, including managing leaders of people
5 years of experience d
emonstrated business leadership and business impact
Strong ability to generate new initiatives and see them through to action.
Experiencing with influencing senior leaders, stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple teams to get work done
Proven ability to take data/results and drive actionable recommendations through meaningful insights
Working knowledge of analytical techniques for marketing measurement including incrementality, test and learn, Media Mix Modeling/Multi Touch Attribution to drive business decisions
Familiarity with predictive analytics including regression, clustering, and propensity modeling
Experience working with analytic software (e.g., SPSS, Sequel, etc.) and 1P data
Preferred Education/Experience:
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics or related field
Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in omni-channel retail
Experience managing global team
