Job Summary
The CRO Transformation Office is an integral component within the newly formed RevOps Transformation, Planning & Insights function. Working closely with our Chief Transformation Office (CTrO) and other relevant CRO and BU functions, this team enables scalable CRO transformation outcomes at an accelerated rate.
The CRO Transformation Director is responsible to strategize, orchestrate and deliver complex, cross-functional Go-To-Market (GTM) transformation initiatives to achieve business outcomes aligned with CRO key priorities. From initiative inception and design to activation and hand-off, the CRO Transformation Director drives work and guides functional leaders, supporting team members (communication, HR, project managers, etc.), and operations / process owners to ensure delivery on transformation outcomes.
Responsibilities
Transformation Leadership, Design, & Orchestration
Lead scope definition and activation of CRO strategic transformation initiatives aimed at increasing revenue, reducing expenses, enhancing business efficiency, and improving customer experience
Lead by influence and orchestrate high performing supporting team and enhance functional leaders’ and key stakeholders’ effectiveness & ability to make a positive impact
Ensure robust process, management, communication, risk, dependencies, and reporting mechanism to effectively support transformation efforts
Craft and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership through data-driven analysis and visualization for decision making
Achieve alignment across CRO and RevOps PMO on delivery initiatives, outcomes and change management approaches
Create financial models, roadmaps, and business cases to support overall strategic planning, investment requests, and impact assessment
Lead multiple change/acceleration teams simultaneously across geographies
Ensure that transformation initiative deliverables are of high quality
Conduct post-initiative reviews to look for opportunities to improve methods, training, and guidance
Actively share best practices and drive continuous improvement within the CRO Transformation Office
Cross-Functional Partnerships
Ensure alignment with CTrO, and other transformation efforts on broader initiatives, outcomes and change management approaches
Support cross-functional stakeholders in the activation process and get feedback and proactively course correct when required
Seek and take council from senior leaders to analyze complex problems per feedback and develop recommended action
Facilitates diverse groups in process workshops and design sessions
Help manage governance and stakeholder forums - develop agendas, set expectations, consolidate materials, track/execute action items
Business Acumen & Communication
Understand business challenges and develop and prioritize solutions to make significant impacts
Leverage critical thinking & sharp problem-solving to support the design & activation of CRO transformational initiatives
Identify upstream & downstream impact as early as possible and gain buy-in from relevant stakeholders throughout the process to maximize success
Design leading and lagging KPIs to track throughout the initiative process to maintain speed and identify early signs of issue
Strike balance between effective communication with program sponsors whilst pragmatic with volume, frequency and/or content
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with the following attributes and prior experience
Knowledge and Experience
University degree, preferably in a business-related discipline, or equivalent through experience
Extensive experience leading large transformation programs within a complex matrixed organization either as an external consultant or an internal cross-functional lead
Comprehensive understanding of GTM strategy & operating mechanisms, preferably digitally enabled
Experience establishing high standards for performance, setting goals, and developing plans, following through, and holding people accountable for results
Experience in developing, delivering on, and measuring OKRs (Objective & Key Results)
Ability to anticipate problems, drive balanced perspectives, motivate, and empower others to help ensure successful outcomes
Familiarity with change management approaches, tools, and engagement models
Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to influence and align others
Experience handling confidential information appropriately
Skills and Attributes
Excellent communication, negotiation, conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills
Skilled dialogue facilitator: able to create productive spaces for brainstorming, discussion, innovation, and solutioning
Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways
Exhibits overall strong business acumen with understanding of economic tradeoffs of decisions
Creative, high energy, self-starter comfortable running programs independently and interfacing with multiple levels and functions
Ability to flex between thinking and doing, e.g., provide sound strategic guidance and roll up sleeves to structure a project plan, develop a financial model, or craft a presentation
Comfortable with, and displays resourcefulness, in ambiguity
High EQ and self-awareness - able to understand and resonate with diverse groups regarding the impact of business changes
