Position overview

The Director, Commercial Strategy will focus primarily on our Customer Success and Professional Services organizations, with the broader goal of scaling our global GTM engine across the customer lifecycle and ensuring predictable and repeatable growth. Reporting into the VP of Commercial Strategy, this role will directly partner with the Head of Customer Success to develop strategies to drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Customers Success leadership and the broader Strategy & Operations team to establish a world-class Customer Success organization
  • Ensure the go-to-market engine for Customer Success aligns to the company's thematic goals, strategic pillars and long-term operating plan
  • Bring thought leadership, best practice and strategic insight to build, manage and accelerate our core operating model for Customer Success
  • Innovate on retention and consumption processes that lead to long-term customer satisfaction and adoption of Diligent as a favorite solution
  • Develop actionable insights and monitor business health trends
  • Manage annual planning, territory creation and quota-setting
  • Identify white space opportunities to optimize customer engagement and consumption
  • Collaborate and ensure alignment with other Commercial stakeholders across the business
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Tenured record for success in leadership positions in B2B SaaS Strategy & Operations
  • Demonstrated strength in partnering with business leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver revenue growth and customer retention
