The Director of Client Success leads a team of Client Success Advisors (CSA) and Client Revenue Advisors (CRA) who are responsible for the overall strategy and execution in alignment with business goals and organization strategies. Responsibilities of the Director include developing and instilling in their team members a passion for building deep expertise and relationships with regard to their clients and specialties, understanding the strategic initiatives for their clients, creating success metrics and dashboards, attaining retention and growth targets, and handling client escalations. The Director, Client Success is a critical role that will have significant impact on Greenway Health’s success and our clients’ success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with Leadership across Greenway in the development and implementation of strategies/tactics to ensure the alignment with key business goals and overall organization strategies
- Manage the team to create a client centric culture and to maximize organizational impact and efficiency
- Develop and implement succession planning and career development for existing employees
- Maintains appropriate records and data to produce monthly performance reports, annual performance reports, and external reports.
- Participates in relevant Client Success department policy and planning committees and meetings.
- Supports the values and institutional goals as defined by Greenway Health.
- Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with our key clients.
- Completes duties and responsibilities in compliance with Greenway Health standards, policies and guidelines.
- Participate in creation of value-add deliverables and presentations
- Able to lead Quarterly Partner Reviews and Governance meetings with clients
- Drive towards KPIs for revenue retention, client satisfaction and qualified sales leads
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Two (2)+ years in a Client Success leadership role or equivalent work experience
- Experience managing both platform and revenue clients, including the advisors managing those products
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Demonstrated excellent supervisory, administrative, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in handling complex client demands.
- Skill in working effectively in a team environment with a client service focus.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with staff, all company employees and the client community.
- Ability to drive strategic conversations with clients
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; and effectively present information to top management and public groups.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, staff, or members of the Greenway Health community.
- Effective escalation management.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
- This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
- This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
- The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
- Ability to travel as needed
