Are you a driven and experienced professional in the field of Bioinformatics and Informatics? Do you have a strong network of contacts in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences industries in North America If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We have been retained to work with a global leader in Bioinformatics services and solutions , to find a dedicated Business Development individual to join their team.
As a key player in the organisation, you will:

• Sell cutting-edge bioinformatics services and products to prominent players in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science sectors.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects across various segments, utilizing your network, research, and engagement strategies.
• Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for your designated territory.
• Forge connections with decision-makers at prospective and existing accounts, arranging meetings with technical teams and senior leadership.
• Collaborate closely with their technical and solutioning teams, approaching clients in a consultative manner.
• Demonstrate exceptional sales skills throughout the entire sales cycle, understanding client needs, identifying opportunities, coordinating presentations, and closing deals.
• Utilise your interpersonal skills to negotiate contracts and build enduring relationships with clients and internal partners.
• Travel as needed to nurture customer relationships and grow the business.
• Collaborate with their Inside Sales team to effectively prospect new clients.
• Maintain up-to-date sales information and reports, ensuring accurate forecasts and pipelines.

To succeed in this role, you should be a collaborative pioneer with a passion for Bioinformatics services and a deep understanding of Bioinformatics and Informatics for R&D. An advanced degree in science is preferred, and your existing network of USA decision-makers will be a valuable asset. Experience in a global, multi-cultural organisation is essential, and your professionalism and customer-centric approach should set you apart.
