Summary
Anaconda is pioneering the way for businesses to accelerate AI transformation leveraging our Data Science and Machine Learning foundation over the past 12 years. Anaconda is searching for an experienced B2B Director, Brand & Communications to lead our reputation efforts in the growing space of GenAI. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading and developing Brand & Communications teams in earlier stage, high growth companies.
What You'll Do:
- Define and lead company's brand and communications strategy
- Own, lead, and direct all external communications
- Facilitate briefings with media and analyst outlets
- Provide counsel during crisis events
- Partner on internal communications with HR/People teams
- Lead and develop compelling storytelling and creative initiatives
- Create brand-level assets and content for traditional and digital channels
- Define, maintain, and build brand experiences in collaboration with other teams
- Collaborate on analyst relations strategy and execution
- Lead and develop a team of creative, communications, and content professionals
- Manage priorities for in-house resources, freelancers, and agencies
- Define and track communication effectiveness
- Some travel required for executive meetings.
What You Need:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications with demonstrated progression in responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, PR, English, marketing, or related field
- Experience in leadership roles across more than one Brand & Communications function
- Experience overseeing public relations agency and freelancers
- Experience in the high-tech industry, preferably in open source or DevOps spaces
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Knowledge and experience working across multichannel campaigns and a broad range of marketing and communications assets
- Demonstrated understanding of strategic brand messaging
- Eye for visual brand implementation
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced, high-growth environment
