The Direct Support Professional (DSP) coordinates day habilitation programming and activities, working with management, staff, and the people that reside at Palmer Center to create activities that are both home-based and in the community.
Palmer Center is located in Kingston, and is very close to shopping and the Rhinecliff Bridge.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/8:00 am to 4:00 pm
STARTING SALARY: $ 16.41 to $ 17.86 per hour, for working at this location(which includes a $2.00 per hour differential over the DSP base salary range of $ 14.41 to $ 15.86) , plus applicable shift differentials may be added.
Minimum Requirements
