SalaryResponsibilities:
- Provide Direct Support and care to individuals in various settings, such as assisted living facilities.
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of individuals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
Skills:
- Direct support experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies.
- Familiarity with systems and processes related to providing care and support.
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is a plus.
- Ability to administer medication following prescribed guidelines.
- Understanding of hospice care principles and practices.
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in the environment.
