Direct Support Professional (Dsp) - Pick Up/Drop Off Included

Note: Transportation role with morning and afternoon pick-up/drop-off

What we look for in our Direct Support Professionals:

· Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills / personal care (may include assistance with grooming, bathing, feeding)

· Utilize curated plans to assess an individual's needs

· Accompany individuals to and from appointments and activities

· Foster a meaningful and empathetic relationship between the individuals and their community

The IDEAL candidate will:

· Be 18 years of age or older (required)

· Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED

· Have a valid driver's license

· Experience with the developmentally disabled or as a caretaker is preferred but not required

· Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Be energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor

· Have a high level of comfort with hands on domestic care (cleaning, washing, assisting with hygiene care)

How we pay:

Daily pick up and drop off at up to $60/hour

Work Location: One or more locations for community based support based on agreed case load

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per day

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• No nights
• No weekends

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Bridgeport, NJ (Required)
