If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities then look no further! Kaleidoscope Family Solutions is hiring part time staff in the Swansea MA area, join our team of dedicated and caring Direct Support Professionals and experience the Kaleidoscope way!
Our services provide in home and in community support to individuals with physical disabilities, brain injuries, and mental health disorders. Our team partners with family members and existing providers to create and achieve individualized goals that improve overall independence at home and in the community.
What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties):
* You'll support individuals in learning, maintaining, or improving skills through their participation in a variety of activities of everyday life, including in their homes and in the community to improve their level of independence!
* You'll implement support strategies to achieve the individual's personalized goals!
* You'll submit accurate and complete daily progress notes for each shift worked with the individuals!
What We Expect of You (Qualifications):
* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
* Valid driver's license and existing insurance.
* Must be willing to drive individuals in personal cars throughout the community. We provide mileage reimbursement!
* Willing to comply with required policies, standards, and regulations including, but not limited to background checks, reference checks, and driving record checks.
* Must have flexible availability.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills!
