Job Description: Gallant Therapy Services is seeking Artist Mentors to work with adults with varying disabilities in our art studio as well as in the community!

A Day in the Life of a Direct Support Professional: We assist adults with varying disabilities, we serve by teaching them new skills, refining current skills, fostering independence and creating opportunities to help them live life to the fullest. While we focus on various forms of art, we also are teaching life skills while out and about!
Qualifications to be a Direct Support Professional:
- Must have a valid Maine Driver's License
- Must have an insured, inspected, registered and reliable vehicle (we transport the individuals we serve using our own vehicles)
- Must be able to pass all required background checks
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit and/or kneel for longer periods of time, including doing these activities on different terrains (flat ground, hills, hiking paths, snow, dirt, etc.)
- Must be able to tolerate both indoor and outdoor settings at any time of the year
