Life Changing Support Services is looking for the following: Direct Support Professionals to work directly with people who have intellectual disabilities. $16.00/hour starting wage. - Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evening, and overnights

```Duties``` - Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medication and monitor health conditions - Implement behavior management strategies and provide emotional support - Assist with meal planning and preparation - Accompany individuals to appointments and outings - Maintain a clean and safe living environment - Document and report any changes in behavior or health status ```Requirements``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to lift and assist with transferring individuals as needed - Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices - Familiarity with patient care techniques and procedures - Understanding of behavior management strategies - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively - Compassionate, patient, and caring attitude Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
