Now Hiring Direct Support Professionals - Per Diem!

Home to Stay Senior Care Solutions is looking for a full-time/part time Direct Support Professional to provide assistance to a clients in Gloucester County, Salem, Camden, and/or Burlington Counties. This is a Per diem position.

About the role/individual:

Looking for a motivated and experienced DSPs to provide community-based supports or in-home supports for individuals receiving services from the Division of Developmental Disabilities on an as needed basis. You will arrive at the individual’s home to pick them up and take them around the community or provide in-home supports, depending on the individual. Opportunities for additional clients and hours will be available later on as well if desired.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Direct Support or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different needs and personalities.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting others.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Completion of relevant training programs or certifications.
• Knowledge of best practices in supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Must be able to recognize that disability is a label and not a description
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a car
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
• Must be willing to have a background check
• Must be be willing to take a drug screening
• Must be authorized to legally work in the United States

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
