Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma required and/or higher education in any field of passion.
3 years minimum in a professional caregiving role.
Heart of service is a must!

About the position:
Looking for an employee to provide 1:1 full care and support for a male that resides at home with family; located in Mickleton, SOUTH Jersey. Responsibilities include mixing and administering medications, feeding via G-tube and orally, bathing, diapering, dressing, transferring in and out of wheelchair/bed and assisting in his therapeutic programs (stander, range of motion, and a variety of innovative therapy techniques).
The individual’s care is extensive and meticulous. His great health reflects this! Training will be provided for all responsibilities. The expectation will be to perform all duties as trained for both safety and continuity of care between staff. The house is equipped with a barrier free lift and a variety of therapeutic tools.
This is a busy and rewarding job...and ideal for someone agile with an upbeat personality and in good health (do not apply if you have physical limitations that would prevent you from performing the core duties). We are looking for someone that wants a long-term position and is invested in learning and building a relationship with the client and family. Ideal for someone interested in pursuing a career in nursing, physical therapy, special education, or the medical field.
Dependability is a must! Living within 30 mins of 08056 and having your own reliable transportation is required.
Schedule:
Evening shift: 2-10pm
Working at least one weekend shift per week is required.
Flexibility in covering Holidays is required.
Long term employees have options for short morning shifts or overnight shifts. Must work evening shift first to learn all of his care!
Additional notes:
Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination is required.
