Kingston Resorts, located on the north end of Myrtle Beach, is a 157-acre oceanfront resort comprised of four unique accommodation options, numerous food and beverage outlets, pool complexes and a wellness center offering fitness, spa, tennis, pickle ball and more. After the completion of a $65 million dollar renovation, we are looking for an on-propertyDigital Marketing Specialist to join our team! Come be a part of telling the story of our amazing property, locally, regionally and nationally!

 What Will I Be Doing?

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Kingston Resorts, you will be a part of developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and taking part in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. In addition, this position will play a major role in promoting the property's recent $65 million renovation to both the Hilton and Embassy Suites to include guestrooms, food and beverage outlets, pool and waterparks, plus new and improved event spaces.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supporting the Director of Marketing in establishing and executing the property's marketing strategy
• Assist in the design and distribution of marketing collateral, both print and electronic, including but not limited to: renovated-related materials, food & beverage promotional materials and wedding/meeting brochures
• Maintain online brand presence, auditing and updating various websites, examples included brand.com and property-specific and restaurant sites built on WordPress, Google My Business, Cvent, TripAdvisor, various Online Travel Agency site pages, wedding websites, etc.
• Utilize the Hilton marketing systems to ensure property updates are made to help ensure 3rd party utilization has the most current information and visuals.
• Collaborate and help create content for various existing and potential new social media platforms for Kingston Resorts, both hotels, and Black Drum Brewing
• Work with 3rd party partners and assist in implanting content for website, social media and Digital Marketing.  Take part in weekly and monthly reviews, learning and understanding the analytics to better strategize marketing and advertising efforts.
• Coordinate and manage media writers, influencers, bloggers and other VIP guests to ensure property visit is thorough and thought out with proper communication to key department heads.
• Assist in various photo and video shoots as needed.
• Participate and assist as needed for any and all event marketing projects conducted at Kingston Resorts.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of marketing communication mediums to include but not limited to traditional, digital, and social channels
• Excellent written skills sufficient to produce internal/external sales and marketing communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different departments simultaneously to achieve deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in creative platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva (preferred)
• Ability to navigate CMS platforms (preferred)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher & Outlook)
• Social platforms and project-based systems such as Sprout Social
• Extensive knowledge of property facilities, meeting space and services
• Excellent written skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication that properly reflects Kingston Resorts
• Excellent spoken and presentation skills
• Effective active listener
• Ability to work both independently and as a

Qualifying Standards

Education:        Four-year college education preferred

Experience:      1-year hotel or marketing experience preferred

Grooming:       All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
