Who You Are:

As a Digital Content Creator, you will be responsible for curating content to be utilized by our customers in a variety of ways. You will bring your creative skills to an impactful role that allows you to develop and implement content marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement with HighLevel customers.


You will have a proven track record of creating and distributing marketing copy and social media content to advertise our company and products. You are comfortable with using a variety of digital publishing tools and platforms in a high-performance, high-accountability environment. You will leverage your excellent communication and design skills to translate technical information into user-friendly content that caters to our diverse customer base, ensuring that the content is clear, accurate, and accessible.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Using a variety of digital publishing tools and platforms to prepare comprehensive drafts.
  • Thorough research on trending topics and finding unique perspectives to engage with the audience.
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) of websites, web pages, and written content.
  • Comprehensive planning of marketing strategies and making appropriate copies to distribute across different channels.
  • Making a strong connection between marketing and internal teams to furnish high-quality interactive content.
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement with customers.
  • Conduct research on topics related to the company's products or services to help identify new trends or opportunities for growth.
  • Write and edit blog posts, newsletters, e-books, white papers, case studies, and other content for websites, blogs and other channels.
  • Producing marketing copy to advertise our customers' products, writing blog posts about technology-related topics and promoting content on social media.
  • Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products.
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares).
  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
  • Assist marketing team with website updates and content audits to ensure updates are accurate and timely.
  • Support the marketing department in maintaining a professional and consistent brand image and voice.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Experience/Education/Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, or a similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, Technical Writer, Editor or similar role, preferably in the software or SaaS industry
  • Excellent at writing, proofreading, and editing
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure content aligns with our overall marketing strategy
  • Incorporating SEO techniques into content creation
  • Monitoring content performance and making necessary adjustments for improved engagement
  • An individual with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Committed to delivering high-quality content and have high attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
  • Self-motivated and are able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and concise manner
  • A portfolio of previous content creation work, including quick help articles and/or videos, demonstrating your ability to simplify complex concepts
