Hope for Brighter Tomorrows, dedicated to supporting individuals living with mental illness and their families, is seeking a passionate and skilled Digital Content Creator.

Overview:

The Digital Content Creator role is pivotal in developing and managing diverse DIGITAL CONTENT to raise awareness, educate, and engage our audience on various platforms including websites, social media, and blogs. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and blog posts that resonate with our mission and values.

Collaboration with our leadership team is crucial for planning and developing site content, ensuring it aligns with our style, brand, and message. The role also involves working with third-party vendors for specific tasks, optimizing content for search engines and user experience, and using SEO strategies to enhance online visibility. A key part of the job is to analyze content performance metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

· Developing and managing DIGITAL CONTENT across various platforms (websites, social media, blogs, etc.).

· Creating engaging multimedia content such as videos, graphics, blog posts, and other types of media.

· Collaborating with leadership team to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.

· Work with third-party vendors as needed for various tasks.

· Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.

· Using SEO strategies in writing to maximize online visibility.

· Analyzing content marketing metrics and making changes as needed.

· Staying up-to-date and generating new ideas to draw the audience's attention.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience required

· Proven content creation or copywriting experience.

· Working knowledge of content management systems, such as WordPress or Webflow.

· Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

· Strong research skills and attention to detail.

· Good understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.

· Experience with social media management and various tools.

· Creativity and the ability to develop original content that provokes engagement.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, and core days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and evening responsibilities. Hours TBD with supervisor.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day.

Required Education or Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field, or currently working toward a B.A. degree.
• Full time related ministry experience preferred.
