Opportunity

The Kohler Information Technology (IT) organization is an enterprise staff function responsible for Information Technology across the global organization. IT is committed to delivering against Kohler Co.'s increasingly digital agenda by enabling strategic outcomes. Within the organization, there are multiple teams who work together to achieve business value - Business Partners, Infrastructure and Operations, Core Capabilities, Digital Capabilities, Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity. This position is part of the Digital Capabilities organization and works with our business partners and cross-functionally within IT to deliver business value through project implementations.

The Business Analyst works with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design to develop digital applications and solutions. The ideal candidate can recommend changes to existing applications, identify impacted interfaces, and work with the technical team to implement and test the changes.

The role involves working with Kohler Co. at a global level and across multiple time zones with a wide variety of key working relationships in areas such as USA, China, Europe, and India.

Specific Responsibilities

The Business Analyst must have demonstrated expertise in digital and/or ecommerce projects to include:

• Work with business and technical partners to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; understand the customer journey and define system requirements.
• Facilitate regular requirement gathering/grooming and design sessions with stakeholder community and communicate expectations to the development team.
• Negotiate system solutions that satisfy requirements and deliver business value while ensuring consistency with architectural guidelines and security standards.
• Work with multiple stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed solutions, facilitate deployments and minimize disruption to services.
• Liaise with IT project teams to communicate business priorities, translate business requirements into technical requirements and identify appropriate solutions.
• Promote architectural consistency and standards.
• Review test cases to ensure requirements are fully covered.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required, with preference in Information Technology / Information Systems areas.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or performing business analysis activities.
• 2-4 years of experience in digital/ecommerce platforms
• Knowledge and experience in Agile development framework
• Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written.

The salary range for this position is $91,950 - $116,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
