Dietary Aide / Full Time

NewCourtland Philadelphia Senior Center is seeking a Full TimeDietary Aide to be part of our team. The worksite location is PSC Arts, 509 S. Broad Street,Philadelphia, PA 19147. This is a Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, 7.5 hours per day, no weekends position. Parking is not available at this work location.

Pay rate: $15.00

Basic Purpose: Under the direction and supervision of the Dietary Supervisor, the Dietary Aide works in the kitchen assisting in the preparation and service of food and follows a cleaning schedule. Exceptional customer service skills is a MUST!

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Prepares and/or assists in preparation of meals, snacks and beverages.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food equipment, food contact surfaces, and food delivery carts.
• Labels nourishment, handles, stores, and disposes food supplies and prepares food in accordance with department procedures and in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Assist in the dish room follow proper washing procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalency
