Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your role is vital in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals in a safe and sanitary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food production, including meal preparation and portioning
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner
- Help with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests of residents
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with residents
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal service
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
