Job Description:
As a Dietary Aid at River Valley Care Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. Working closely with our dietary team, you will assist in preparing and serving meals, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, and providing excellent customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to specified menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensure that meals are served on time and in appropriate portions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure the safety of our residents.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with dietary staff and other team members to maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
