Diesel Technician

Compass Truck Sales and Compass Truck Rental and Leasing have expanded their fleet to 1000+ semitrucks and we are looking to expand the shop maintenance capacity to provide the quickest truck maintenance turnaround in the industry!
We are currently looking for Diesel Technicians that can successfully run the following scope of work:

• Full Inspection and Repairing the trucks to meet USA DOT standards
• Performing Diagnostic and Troubleshooting using DDDL, Cummins Insite and Powerspec, Davie 4, Bendix and Wabco
• Diagnosing and Repairing Electrical Issues (Understands how the New Generation Trucks Modules are operating)

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years Diesel Technician experience required
• Knowledge of doing Alignment (Willing to learn)
• Working, Diagnosing and Understanding the Aftertreatment system is mandatory
• Willing to teach and guide the younger/unexperienced technicians is mandatory
• Some customer interaction is necessary; You must be able to listen attentively, diffuse their frustration and offer a solution
• Professionalism is a must
• CDL license is preferred

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
