Maintains and organizes patient records within Diagnostic Imaging department. Provides professional, efficient customer service at all times to all patients, guests, and co-workers and physicians offices via telephone, email and fax communication. Provides clerical functions as listed below. This position is responsible to the Diagnostic Imaging Director and works with the technologists within the department for coordination of communication into and out of the department as necessary.

Required: -High school diploma or GED

Desired: Previous experience as ward clerk with computerized order entry, and scheduling.
C. Equipment/Tools/Work Aids:
Computer (order entry system), printer, photo copier, patient records, telephone system.
D. Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to interact and provide service to the customer’s age specific, cultural, physical and psychosocial well being.
E. Other:
Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
