Job Title: DevOps Engineer, Centralized Services
Reports To: CIO
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Overview: Under the direction of the CIO, the DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring high-performance systems that support our Managed Services delivery. With an in-depth understanding of Cloud Services, Automation, IT operations and client satisfaction, will be utilized to drive our team’s success in providing top-notch IT solutions and support.
Essential Functions:
- Support, configure, build, and maintain production systems
- Ensure uptime through monitoring and triage best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Schedule and execute system updates to maintain system security
- Build automations through scripting and APIs and integrate systems and streamline processes
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality and optimize processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IT service management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align services and foster a culture of excellence.
- Continuously evaluate performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, policies, and SOPs.
- Share technical expertise and insights with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience
- Programming/scripting languages (python, PowerShell, Unix shell scripting)
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with SSO/SAML
- Strong experience with Microsoft Cloud Services, especially MS Azure
- Strong experience with MSP centric tool and systems such as Kaseya, Connectwise, Datto, Duo, etc.
- Networking technologies such as ipsec, firewalls, networking, tcp/ip, routing, and VPN
- Proven track record of successfully engaging with remote IT teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- IT certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL or PMP are a plus.
- Experience in using a PSA/ticketing system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, excellent customer service skills and a "can do” attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload.
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment is a plus.
- Ability to document work and maintain accurate records.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and common software applications.

Physical Requirements
- Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
- Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly with clients in person and over the telephone.
- Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed
sources and computer screens.
- Other: Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted.
Requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements (specifically keyboarding
and writing), standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling
exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
