  • Responsibilities

    Metro is seeking the next member of our Customer Service Team. Our people are at the center of our success. We share a passion for satisfying the customer, innovation, ethics and integrity, and continuous improvement.

    This is not a call center environment. There is no "script". You will develop relationships with your assigned customer base and solve issues based on the market and product knowledge you obtain. You will interface with customers via phone calls, email, and chat. Customer volume will be high. Work hours for this opportunity are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This position is a hybrid position. This is subject to change.

    Responsibilities :

    The Customer Service Rep II provides consistent, exceptional support of daily activities with customers, sales representatives, internal customers and department members in maintaining proper level of service. This position has assigned territory responsibilities. We are seeking an individual who enjoys being a valued member of a team, building positive and collaborative relationships, managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, and opportunities to develop your skills and expertise.

    1. Provide timely support via phone, email or live chat to customers regarding orders, product, services, problem situations or other inquiries.
    2. Refer customers to CS Supervisors or designated resource as required.
    3. Record details of customer contacts and actions taken.
    4. Manage assigned territory.
    5. Handle RMA’s.
    6. Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
    7. Provide feedback to company on the efficiency of the customer service process, product/service failures or customer concerns.
    8. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications include:

    1. High School Diploma or GED
    2. Five years of customer service experience
    3. Good mathematical skills
    4. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
    5. Excellent communication and time management skills
    6. Ability to learn and retain large amounts of complex information to provide customer solutions
    7. Comfortable with a long learning curve
    8. The ability to multi task in a fast paced high volume environment is essential
    9. The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    10. The ability to use logic resulting in good decision making ability.
    11. Good problem solving and reasoning ability

  • Qualifications

    BFA and/or MFA in Art with proven successful teaching record in ceramics; priority given to candidates with an MFA. The practical knowledge and understanding of how a Art Studio functions and operates on a daily basis. Prefer teaching experience at the college level. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures. Experience with instructional technology preferred.

    Responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning; committed to student recruitment, retention and success; assessment of learning, development of curriculum and use of instructional delivery modes utilizing both traditional and non-traditional methodology.

    1. Teach assigned course which may include day, night, and online courses, as well as at the main campus and extension centers. Classes are to meet on time for the full allotted time.
    2. Establish and promote an effective learning environment that maximize documented student learning.
    3. Prepare, submit and maintain reports related to student learning.
    4. Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth, returning graded assignments to students in a timely manner, and assigning final grades for all students, meeting or beating all institutional deadlines for completion.
    5. Provide educational assistance to students during regularly scheduled and posted times (i.e., office hours) or by appointment.
    6. Encourage student opinion survey completion for each class and then reviewed after summary information available to assist with increasing student success.
    7. Maintain levels of professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training or hour.
    8. Perform other duties as assigned.
