Are you a Cloud Engineer/Developer with a passion for Cloud and DevOps concepts? Have you had streamlined Application Development/Testing/Deployment process for maximum efficiency and scalability?
Do you enjoy evaluating and deploying the latest technologies turning the old way of doing things upside down? Would you like to use your experience in development and operations to create a game-changing transformation delivering the benefits of the cloud to the enterprise? We need someone who understands that migrating legacy applications to the cloud is a marathon, not a sprint.

This position requires a candidate who is still able and willing to dive into code, figure out solutions to complex problems, do comparative evaluations, while leading a small but experienced team of engineers to evolve the platform and support our product portfolio. A successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in at least one programming language, previous work in SaaS operations, platform development and prior leadership experience. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience with cyber security and network protocols.
Essential Functions:
Design, Architect, and Implement next generation system architecture and automation solutions on cloud platforms
Design, Implement, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
Architect and improve our growing application deployment on the cloud platform (PaaS & SaaS)
Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices with Cloud Formation, and Configuration Management
Assist with building automation scripts and frameworks like Chef or Puppet to automate the system and software deployments and alerts to monitor system health
Support application deployments, building new systems and upgrading and patching existing ones through DevOps methodologies
Monitor the activities of the developers to remove any roadblocks and ensure timely completion of all work tasks
Have expert System Administration skills to assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems when they occur and trace the symptoms back to the root cause. Assist developers in debugging application issues using tools
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum ten (10) years of related experience.
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years' experience as DevOps Engineer or Solution Architect
Extensive experience in applications build on Java and .net platforms.
Experience in understanding Mobile and Web based applications
Having Analytics background is a plus
Linux administration experience (e.g. Ubuntu, RedHat/CentOS) with a focus on web (Apache/Nginx)
Java Application Server administration and tuning experience (e.g. Jboss, Weblogic, Tomcat, Websphere)
Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, Servlet/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML
Configuration management experience with one or more configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
Experience MongoDB, Kafka, Hadoop, NonSQL, MySQL and other Open source systems.
Experince in utilizing and integrating into Docker, kubernaties
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Strong experience with agile software development techniques, developer driven testing, and highly automated test environments
Experience with monitoring/reporting technologies (e.g. Nagios, Dynatrace, Graphite, Cacti, AppDynamics, NewRelic, Splunk, Graylog etc
Private and public cloud experience (Azure, OpenStack, AWS, Soflayer, etc.)
Application clustering / load balancing concepts and technologies
Proficient in using command line tools to quickly triage and fix production issues.
Team player who can jump in and use his or her broad experience to recommend and implement best practices
