Devops Architect

A DevOps Architect works with DDI’s Platform Owner, Infrastructure Team, and other Stakeholders to provide technical leadership in the Platform Engineering team to create and maintain DDI’s Software Releases and Technology Platforms.

• Design, Architect, and Support DDI’s Builds, Deployments, DevOps Processes while focusing on efficiency improvements to the Developer Experience
• Collaborate with Senior Technical Leaders to Design, Architect, and Support DDI’s Cloud Platform
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science Teams to Design, Architect, and Support DDI’s Data Platforms and MLOps practices
• Collaborate with the SRE and Infrastructure Teams to Design, Architect, and Support DDI’s Platform and Security Monitoring Solutions
• Work with the Platform Owner to gather and define Compliance Requirements while ensuring that processes are in place to enforce them
• Collaborate with DDI Associates across all Technology Teams to understand their Application and Platform needs to provide the right technical solutions across multiple systems and products
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen; serve as a mentor for other Platform Engineers while helping them to grow their skills and toolkit
• Influence others by creating a participative and inclusive environment

• Proven technical aptitude and exceptional proven initiative to investigate and learn new technologies.
• 10+ years’ experience working with modern DevOps/SRE Tools and Practices, including GitHub Actions
• 5+ years’ Experience with Microsoft Azure, including the management of the full stack of technologies necessary to host a data-driven web application via App Service Plans and Containers
• Experience with defining and adhering to Compliance Frameworks, such as ISO 27001 or SOC-2
• Possess excellent communication and project management skills via Diagramming, Presentations, Emails, Chats, and Video Conferencing
• Strong Project Management skills with the ability to define long-term roadmaps with tracking Milestones and Progress while possessing a strong attention to detail.
• Experience as a coach and mentor for junior associates while influencing as a non-people leader in a participative environment.
• Maintains stable performance and a positive attitude under pressure and/or in the face of ambiguity while working with limited-to-no oversight.

Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this position is listed below.

Variable Pay: Yes, 10% of salary
